A nurse at the Ohio State University Medical Center contacted police April 22 and reported that a woman came into the hospital for treatment. The woman told the nurse she was sexually assaulted during a wisdom teeth removal procedure that took place March 28.

The woman said her dentist made inappropriate remarks before the procedure and that her husband was asked to leave the office’s waiting area during the surgery. The woman also reported soreness and bruising across her body after the procedure. Additionally, a CT scan revealed the woman had a fractured facial bone.

The Chillicothe Police Department is currently investigating the incident.

The Scioto Valley Guardian reported that the name of the dental office involved in the incident was redacted from the police report and could not be confirmed.
