Oregon dental surgeon killed in triple homicide

A dental surgeon has been identified as one of three people killed June 18 in Oregon.

Dr. Charles Simms Nicholson, 83, was licensed in California and Oregon and had previously been affiliated with the Advantage Dental Clinic in Coos Bay, Ore.

According to KEZI 9 News, Dr. Nicholson’s son, Oen Nicholson, has been charged with six counts of first degree murder in connection with his father’s death and the slaying of two other people in Oregon. Mr. Nicholson turned himself in to police in Wisconsin on June 22 and was scheduled to appear in court there on June 25 regarding extradition back to Oregon.
