National Dental Healthcare REIT, a dental real estate company, has acquired eight dental properties.

Peoria, Ill.-based Associated Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons is relocating to a new 15,000-square-foot building, the Peoria Journal Star reported Dec. 19. 

Tom Jacobsen, DDS, recently retired after more than 50 years in the dental industry, kcaw.org reported Dec. 18. 

A dental clinic owner in Kenai, Alaska, has been sentenced to 12 months and one day in prison for bankruptcy fraud.
