Twenty-one percent of Americans skipped visiting the dentist in 2022, according to a May Federal Reserve report.

Dentists who have been out of dental school for more than 25 years are less likely to be affiliated with a DSO, according to data from the American Dental Association's Health Policy Institute. 

The American Dental Association has asked the U.S. Senate to pass legislation that would help improve the dental workforce and access to care in rural areas.
