Pennsylvania dentist faces federal charges after prescribing medically unnecessary prescriptions: 3 insights

Christopher Bereznak, DMD, is facing federal charges for prescribing prescriptions to patients that were not medically necessary, according to WNEP.

1. Dr. Bereznak was arrested in August 2017 for allegedly prescribing various opioids a woman he was in a relationship with.

2. Since the arrest, Dr. Bereznak’s license has been suspended and he cannot prescribe painkillers.
