When asked, “Is your practice paying staff this week?” 90.9 percent of all U.S. dental professionals said they were for the week ending Nov. 2, while 7.8 percent of respondents said they were partially paying staff.
The percentage of practices paying staff in full has gradually declined since Sept. 21, when 94.7 percent of dentists paid staff in full. Before that, paying staff in full had been increasing since a steep drop at the beginning of the pandemic.
