A second Signature Smiles in Humble, Texas, has abruptly shut down, according to a Feb. 18 report from local NBC affiliate Click2Houston.

Dozens of current and former patients say they are in limbo after hearing that the dental practice closed. One patient, Nikki Robinson, claims she prepaid $4,800 for dental work and braces that she never received.

The practice has not returned calls or emails to patients, reports Click2Houston. Instead, patients have created a Facebook group. Patients are being told to contact the Signature Smiles in Woodlands, Texas, in cases of emergency and to retrieve their medical records.

The closure of the Humble, Texas, office comes just weeks after the Signature Smiles in Garden Oaks, Texas, shut down. Originally, patients say they had received notice that the Humble practice would merge with the Garden Oaks practice.
