A dental practice in Eugene, Ore., which abruptly closed in 2024, is facing six lawsuits filed by former patients, according to a May 27 report from ABC affiliate KEZI 9

Six patients filed lawsuits against Pacific Northwest Implant Studio and General Dentistry on May 21 and May 23 over not receiving dental treatment for which they had pre-paid.

The landlord of the building posted a notice citing failure to pay as the reason for the closure in January 2024.

Each of the lawsuits seeks $1 million and requests a jury trial, the report said.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place November 12–14 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
