States disciplining dentists: 3 updates

Several state dental organizations have recently suspended or revoked the licenses of dentists for various violations and crimes.

Three updates: 

1. The Washington Dental Quality Assurance Commission suspended the license of Daryl Yorek, DDS, after multiple alleged infection control issues.

2. The Florida Board of Dentistry revoked the license of Charles Stamitoles, DDS, after he was convicted of inappropriately touching a female employee.

3. The Pennsylvania Board of Dentistry suspended the license of Robert Esser, DDS, after he violated the terms of a consent agreement by consuming alcohol and closing his practice without providing dental services for patients who had paid in advance.
