1. Investigators allege Dr. Lee used patients’ names to fill prescriptions for various narcotics.
2. Court documents allege the orthodontist called in two prescriptions for Xanax and Klonopin for two patients at a local CVS.
The CVS pharmacist became suspicious of the prescriptions due the age of the supposed patient and the number of pills being prescribed. Dr. Lee wrote a 90-pill prescription with three refills.
3. Dr. Lee later visited the CVS to pick up the prescription. The pharmacists denied the prescription, saying the patients’ primary care physicians would need to call CVS.
4. Dr. Lee’s former girlfriend claims the orthodontist also wrote her prescriptions that he ultimately filled for himself.
5. The orthodontist was released on a $15,000 bond.
