The grant will be used to upgrade the Minneapolis-based clinic’s technology and facility needs to improve on efficiency, treatment and access to care, according to a Feb. 20 news release from the university.
The clinic’s focus is mainly on providing dental care to older adults and patients with complex medical conditions, developmental disabilities and physical disabilities.
With the funds, the clinic will add a panoramic X-ray along with other imaging units.
The clinic received a clinical dental education and innovations grant from the state’s department of health, the release said.
At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
