The practice is located at UPMC Montefiore and will specialize in treating surgical cases, according to a Nov. 26 news release.

The clinic improves continuity of care and expanded treatment options for patients who previously received care at the UPMC clinic at Montefiore. By having proximity with UPMC hospital services, patients who require dental procedures as part of treatment in other specialties will receive more coordinated care.

In addition, Pitt and UPMC’s general practice residency program is being reestablished to provide care to general dentistry patients, the release said.
