University at Buffalo dental school opens new implant center

The University at Buffalo (N.Y.) School of Dental Medicine officially opened its new implant center on April 12.

The Buhite-DiMino Center for Implant Dentistry and Advanced Dental Education began seeing patients in November 2022, according to an April 11 release from the university. The facility is 6,000 square feet and has six surgical suites.

The goal of the center is to promote interdisciplinary education for dental professionals, promote clinical research and offer equal access to care to the community, according to the release.
