A West Virginia woman has been charged with embezzling more than $463,000 from a dental office where she worked, Lootpress reported Jan. 26.

Angela Hall, a former employee of Jarrell Family Dentistry in Surveyor, W.V., allegedly embezzled at least $463,351 between June 14, 2018, and June 25, 2025.

An investigation was launched in October after fraudulent checks were discovered. Ms. Hall reportedly had access to the practice’s finances and the owner dentist’s personal accounts due to her role at the office. She allegedly wrote hundreds of checks to herself without permission.
