The clinic, a member of Madison-based Access Community Health Centers, began serving patients in 2009.
The expansion will allow the clinic to treat an additional 1,500 to 2,000 patients annually. It currently supports about 4,000 patients annually, many of whom are underserved, underinsured and low income.
The city will use the grant to expand the clinic to the second floor of the building in which it operates. It will also give the clinic four additional dental operatories, an elevator installation and an updated HVAC system.
At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
