Frederick Kriemelmeyer, DDS, has been accused of taking actions to evade paying $450,000 in taxes, interest and penalties.
In 2007, Dr. Kriemelmeyer was ordered to pay $135,337 to the IRS for unpaid individual income taxes. By 2012, he had allegedly not paid the IRS, bringing the total owed to $450,000.
Beginning in 2011, Dr. Kriemelmeyer allegedly undertook various actions to avoid paying the IRS, including asking patients to pay with cash and personal checks. He has been charged for failing to file tax returns between 2013 and 2015 and attempting to evade taxes due on his income from his dental practice.
If convicted, Dr. Kriemelmeyer faces up to five years in prison for each tax evasion charge.
