The project will modernize about 50,000 square feet of the school’s health sciences center, improving oral health education and patient care, according to a Nov. 18 news release from the university.
The first phase of upgrades includes integrating the pediatric dentistry and orthodontics clinics, faculty group practice and dental innovation center back to the health sciences center. This phase is expected to be completed before the start of the 2026 fall semester.
The funding was provided by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the release said.
