Here are 14 notable DSO moves that are part of larger dental industry trends, including state expansions, de novo openings and technology investments:

  • New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Premier Care Dental Management partnered with Lebanon Family Dental and Lebanon Dental Cornwall, both located in Lebanon, Pa.
  • Henderson, Nev.-based PDS Health opened de novos in Nevada, Texas and Massachusetts. The company also partnered with Pearl to expand AI use across its practices.
  • Houston-based Specialty1 Partners entered a joint venture partnership with Advanced Periodontics Implant Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif. It also completed a multispecialty joint venture between Northeastern Endodontic Specialists and Tuscarawas Oral Surgery and Implant Center in Ohio.
  • Dallas-based DECA Dental Group added Pearl’s AI technology to its network.
  • Southfield, Mich.-based Great Expressions Dental Centers selected VideaHealth as its enterprise-wide dental AI platform.
  • Phoenix-based Salt Dental Partners opened Smile Station in Brunswick, Md.
  • Troy, Mich.-based Smile Partners USA began working with Clear Aligner Advisor to provide education and training to its doctor partners. The DSO also opened its first de novo practice in Saline, Mich.
  • Chicago-based Aspen Dental integrated VideaHealth’s Clinical Assist AI platform into its more than 1,100 dental practices. 
  • Tampa, Fla.-based Coast Dental selected Pearl as its exclusive AI dental partner. The company also added Planet DDS’ Denticon platform across its 88-office network.
  • Minneapolis-based Park Dental Partners acquired its first practice in Arizona.
