Smile Group, a Chicago-based dental service organization, will provide veterans and their families free dental care on Veterans Day.
Here are three points:
1. Smile Group will deploy 50 volunteers from 12 area dental offices to provide exams, X-rays, cleanings, extractions, fillings and other dental treatments for free.
2. The group estimates more than $150,000 in dental care will be provided to 300-plus patients. This is the second year Smile Group has put on the event, Mission: Veteran Smiles.
3. Smile Group affiliated offices provide comprehensive dental care, including general and cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics and oral surgery.
