21-practice Texas DSO gets investment from private equity firm

Private investment firm Bain Capital Double Impact has signed a deal with Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics to support the dental service organization’s future growth, according to a May 19 news release.

Fort Worth, Texas-based Rodeo Dental plans to use the capital to expand its reach beyond Texas. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Today, the DSO, which comprises 21 practice locations, treats more than 250,000 patient visits annually.

Rodeo Dental was founded in 2009 by four dentists and one orthodontist:

• Yahya Mansour, DDS
• William Dunklin, DDS
• Brian Dugoni, DDS, MSD
• Raffy Kouyoumdjian, DDS
