Aspen Dental expands westward, appoints new VP of hygiene support

East Syracuse, N.Y.-based Aspen Dental has appointed Jan LeBeau, as vice president of hygiene support for the west coast, according to an Oct. 10 news release

Ms. LeBeau has 30 years of industry experience, serving as the director of dental hygiene at Pacific Dental Services prior to joining Aspen Dental. She also served as the chair of dental hygiene for Costa Mesa, Calif.-based Pacific Dental Services University Institute of Dentistry. There, Ms. LeBeau helped develop and implement a large-scale diode laser program.

The addition of LeBeau comes at a critical time, as dental hygiene is one of the fastest growing careers in the healthcare support field.

This past year, Aspen Dental began opening new offices in California. The hiring of Ms. LeBeau comes as the dental service organization continues to expand westward. With close to 780 offices in 42 states, Aspen Dental is on track to open 80 new locations in 2019.
