Chicago DSO poaches Pacific Dental Services clinical director

Chicago-based Elite Dental Partners announced March 11 that it has hired Adam Burr, DDS, to serve as its chief dental officer.

As chief dental officer, Dr. Burr will oversee the dental service organization’s clinical program, including continuing education, quality assurance, clinic committees and engagement for 200 supported dentists.

Most recently Dr. Burr served as the regional clinical director for Irvine, Calif.-based Pacific Dental Services in Utah. He helped the DSO revitalize the clinical culture of the region. In is role at Pacific Dental Services, Dr. Burr help grow existing practices and open new practices while doubling the number of dentists and hygienists affiliated with the DSO.

Dr. Burr replaces Scott Kalniz, DDS, who will remain as a strategic advisor to Elite Dental Partner’s senior team.
