North American Dental Group has appointed George Bruder, DMD, its chief research and strategies officer, the Pittsburgh-based DSO said Dec. 1.
Dr. Bruder will work with the Professional Dental Alliance, the DSO's dentist network, to create clinical training programs for dentists affiliated with the DSO. He will also partner with CMO Andrew Matta, DMD, to develop an initiative focused on research and continuity of care.
Dr. Bruder served as the founding chair of the department of endodontics and director of the Advanced Specialty Education Program in Endodontics at the Stony Brook (N.Y.) University School of Dental Medicine from 2006 until 2015. He also served as an associate editor of the Journal of Endodontics.
He is a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a fellow of the International College of Dentists. He also co-founded the International Dental Institute-Forever Learning in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., where he serves as director and CFO.
