Below are six entrepreneurial DSOs to know, in alphabetical order:
Bluetree Dental (Reno, Nev.). Bluetree Dental was founded in 2012. It has 18 supported partners across Oregon, Washington, Utah and California. Bluetree's focus is pediatric dentistry and orthodontics, but it also supports general dentists and oral surgeons.
Bright Side Dental (Sterling Heights, Mich.). Bright Side Dental was founded in 1978 and has nine practices. It has 22 full-time dentists, seven part-time dentists and six hygienists.
ChildSmiles FamilySmiles (Newark, N.J.). ChildSmiles FamilySmiles specializes in both adult and pediatric dentistry, orthodontics and has an ambulatory surgery center. It has six locations across New Jersey.
Cornerstone Dental Partners (Chicago). Cornerstone Dental Partners is a 10-location DSO founded in 2018. The organization's goals are to provide clinical and administrative support, build trust and create a collaborative environment.
Espire Dental (Denver). Espire Dental acquired six practices in Colorado in January. It has 19 locations across Colorado, California, Oklahoma and Wyoming.
GoDental Brands (Charlotte, N.C.). GoDental Brands provides business operation support with the goal of continuing the practice's clinical excellence. It has nine locations across North Carolina.
