Oral Surgery Partners gains 7 acquisitions, new CEO

Oral Surgery Partners recently acquired seven practices and appointed a new CEO, the private equity-backed practice management group said Feb. 21.

CEO John Cline joins the company from his former position as managing director of private equity group New Capital Partners. He was also executive chairman of Hospice Partners of America, a portfolio company of New Capital Partners that was acquired by Addus HomeCare in 2019. He was also CEO of STX Healthcare Management Services, a pediatric-focused DSO in the Southeast that was acquired by Guardian Life Insurance in 2016.

Oral Surgery Partners’ acquisitions include Oral and Facial Surgery Associates, with three locations in Georgia; West Texas Oral and Facial Surgery in Lubbock; William Paul DDS in South Bend, Ind; Valley Oral & Facial Surgery, which has three locations in North Dakota; Show-Me Oral Surgery & Dental Implants in Columbia, Mo.; Piedmont Oral Surgery, which has two locations in North Carolina; and Summerville (S.C.) Oral Surgery. 

Oral Surgery Partners is backed by Chicago-based Sheridan Capital Partners. It operates 25 locations in seven states.
