Onsite Dental acquires DSO, enters partnership with healthcare company

Onsite Dental, an employer-based dental care company, has acquired Dental Excellence Partners and entered a partnership with Cano Health.

Onsite Dental and Cano Health’s partnership aims to promote preventive, proactive dentistry and medical care, according to an April 14 news release.

Cano Health is a value-based primary care provider and population health company. It has medical centers in six states.

Dental Excellence Partners is a DSO that primarily serves Medicare and Medicaid patients. It has 24 dental clinics throughout Florida and Texas. The majority of its locations are inside of Cano Health medical centers.

Onsite Dental is backed by venture and growth equity investment firm Norwest Venture Partners.
