Grinz Orthodontics, founded by Richard Ziehmer, DDS, has six practice locations across North Carolina and Arizona, according to an April 4 news release.
Smile Doctors, an orthodontics-focused DSO, supports more than 370 practices across 27 states.
Tusk Partners, a dental-focused mergers and acquisitions company, advised Grinz Orthodontics during the sale, the release said.
