Irvine, Calif.-based Pacific Dental Services and Fountain Valley, Calif.-based MemorialCare will open their first integrated medical-dental office in Irvine, Calif.
The two organizations formed a joint venture to integrate dental and medical care in December. The partnership includes opening several co-located offices throughout Orange and Los Angeles counties over the next five years. Each site will include a MemorialCare health center and PDS-supported dental practice. All providers at the locations will have access to shared electronic health records through Epic.
MemorialCare opened its health center at the location in May offering family medicine, obstetrics/gynecology and pediatric services. Pacific Dental Services will bring Culver Smiles Dentistry to the location in the fall, according to a July 18 news release.
