Heartland Dental gives out $1.8M in care during its Free Dentistry Day

Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental provided more than $1.8 million in dental services during its third annual Companywide Free Dentistry Day.

More than 4,350 patients received free dental care from 251 Heartland Dental practices during the event, which took place on Sept. 9, according to an Oct. 11 news release from Heartland Dental.

Services provided included professional cleanings, dental fillings and tooth extractions. 

Henry Schein Cares, Envista Smile Project and Leixir Dental Group supported the event with dental supply donations. 

Since 2010, Heartland Dental has given more than $14 million in free dental care to more than 40,000 patients, the release said.
