The two organizations formed a joint venture to integrate dental and medical care in December 2022. The partnership includes opening several co-located offices throughout Orange and Los Angeles counties over the next five years. Each site will include a MemorialCare health center and PDS-supported dental practice. All providers at the locations will have access to shared electronic health records through Epic.
The first office, Culver Smiles Dentistry, is led by Deepika Dhama, DDS, according to a Dec. 5 news release. Patients can access various services at the office, including dental care, oral surgery, family medicine, obstetrics/gynecology and pediatrics.
