Here are seven notable moves from specialty-focused DSOs and dental groups that Becker's has reported on since Jan. 17:
1. Dallas-based Smile Doctors partnered with 28 affiliates in 2023, adding 72 new practice locations to its network.
2. Irving, Texas-based Specialized Dental Partners added Yonchak & Agarwala Endodontics to its network.
3. Nashville, Tenn.-based Southern Orthodontic Partners added its first practice in the Chicago area.
4. Hackensack, N.J.-based Max Surgical Specialty Management expanded into New York and Vermont.
5. St. Louis-based Oral Surgery Partners received a credit expansion of more than $400 million to invest in the company's infrastructure and complete additional acquisitions.
6. Dental Associates of Connecticut launched Archway Dental Partners, a multispecialty dental partnership organization.
7. Modis Dental Partners, a dental group focused on practices that offer dental implants, acquired Innovative Dental of Springfield (Mo.).
