The company is building on its origins as a dental support organization to improve patient care and further advance dental-medical integration, according to an April 23 news release from PDS Health.
Along with the name change, PDS Health opened a 36,000-square-foot headquarters in Henderson, Nev. PDS Health will continue to operate support centers in Irvine, Calif., Henderson and Dallas, with plans to open a center in Miami this year.
PDS previously accomplished milestones in dental-medical integration, including the implementation of Epic across all of its dental practices. It also opened multiple co-located dental and medical practices in Las Vegas and entered a joint venture with MemorialCare to open co-located oral health and primary care practices in California.
PDS Health supports more than 4,600 clinicians across nearly 1,000 practices in 24 states, the release said.
