The company also received the Strategic Volunteering Award, which recognizes companies that have an impact by engaging team members through pro bono and skills-based volunteer initiatives, according to a May 14 news release from PDS Health.

In 2023, PDS Health members provided more than 94,000 hours of volunteer time, donated more than $10 million in dental care to underserved patients and contributed more than $946,000 to the PDS Foundation.

Companies are selected for The Civic 50 based on four measures: investment of resources and volunteerism, integration across business functions, institutionalization through policies and systems and impact measurement, the release said.
