The practices are part of the Simply Beautiful Smiles footprint and expand The Smilist’s network to Maryland and upstate New York, according to a July 9 news release.
Maryland is the sixth state in which The Smilist supports practices, with its network including practices in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Delaware.
With the addition, the DSO supports more than 90 practices and more than 1,500 employees, the release said.
The Smilist closed on a $285 million unitranche debt facility in April to fuel its growth.
