Heartland Dental gives out $2.3M in care during free dentistry day

Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental provided more than $2.3 million in dental services during its fourth annual companywide free dentistry day.

More than 5,600 patients received care from nearly 300 Heartland-supported practices that participated in the event, according to an Oct. 1 news release. 

Services that were provided included cleanings, dental fillings and tooth extractions. 

Since 2010, the DSO’s supported practices have given out more than $16 million in dental care to more than 45,000 patients, the release said.
