5 DSOs expanding on the East Coast

Several DSOs have kicked off 2026 with new partnerships and practice openings in states along the East Coast. 

Five updates to know:

1. Phoenix-based Salt Dental Partners added Suffolk Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, which has five locations in New York. The deal represents Salt Dental Partners’ second partnership in New York.

2. Greenwood Village, Colo.-based ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers opened a location in Albany, N.Y. The opening represents the organization’s 107th office.

3. Chicago-based Phase 1 Equity added a multi-site orthodontic practice in New Jersey, its second office in the state.

4. Hackensack, N.J.-based MAX Surgical Specialty Management added two oral surgery practices in New York: Central Park Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in New York City and J. Bieber Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, which has locations in Fishkill and Newburgh. It also added Oral & Maxillofacial Associates of Montclair.

5. Chicago-based The Sonrisa Group expanded its network into Florida with an acquisition and multiple location openings. The practice acquired Pine Forest Dental in Pensacola, Fla., and launched Lach Dental Specialists, which operates two locations in Lake Nona and Oviedo.
