550 children receive free Kool Smiles dental services: 3 insights

Atlanta-based Kool Smiles put on its fourth Annual Sharing Smiles Day at clinics throughout 13 states and Washington, D.C.

Here are three insights.

1. Dentists at the dental organization’s 49 locations treated more than 550 uninsured children with free dental services.

2. The annual volunteer event offered children dental exams, emergency care, extractions, fillings and sealants.

3. Since its first year, the event has helped treat more than 2,100 children.
