Chicago-based Aspen Dental has closed and consolidated a practice in Gloucester, Mass., according to an April 1 report from National Today.
The DSO permanently closed the Gloucester location March 31, moving all of its services and staff to an Aspen Dental practice in Peabody, Mass., which is about 15 miles away.
The practice in Gloucester has been operating for several years. The closure will help consolidate operations, leverage resources at the Peabody location and provide care to patients more efficiently.
The Aspen Group is one of the largest DSOs in the U.S., supporting more than 1,300 practices across its dental brands, including Aspen Dental.
