Aspen Dental continues to expand in Florida: 5 takeaways

Aspen Dental plans to open two supported practices in Florida later this month.

Here are five takeaways:

1. David Smith, DMD, will lead the Aspen Dental practice in North Port, Fla. Dr. Smith earned his doctor of dental medicine degree at the University of Florida in Gainesville.

2. Princess Elhosary, DMD, will head the other office in Wesley Chapel, Fla. Dr. Elhosary earned her doctor of dental medicine degree at Cleveland-based Case Western Reserve University.

3. The two practices are located in counties designated as dental health professional shortage areas by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

4. Aspen Dental has approximately 650 supported practices in 36 states, providing care to more than 1.5 million patients.

5. Additionally, Aspen Dental Management provides services and recommendations related to finding the right locations, leasing, acquiring, equipment, accounting and marketing.
