Chicago-based Aspen Dental has opened a new practice in Selma, N.C.

The practice offers comprehensive dental services such as cleanings, fillings, crowns, dentures and implants. It accepts most insurance plans and offers financing options for uninsured patients.

The office is led by Mohammad Spouh, DDS, according to an Aug. 20 news release.

The opening comes as North Carolina deals with a shortage of dental providers, with 93 of the state’s 100 counties being wholly or partially designated as health professional shortage areas, according to the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
