Aspen Dental to build a practice in Maine

Chicago-based Aspen Dental is set to build a practice location in Augusta, Maine, as demolition at the site of the old business has started, according to an Aug. 22 report by the Kennebec Journal.

The practice will be 4,000 square feet, replacing the current smaller Aspen Dental office that is approximately half a mile away.

The new office was approved in March 2022 by the city’s planning board.

The Friendly’s restaurant that previously occupied the land closed in 2019, the report said.

Aspen Dental has more than 1,000 practices across the country, including 10 in Maine.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
