Mr. Andrakowicz succeeds Jeffrey Saladin, DDS, who founded Children’s Choice and has served as CEO for 12 years. Dr. Saladin helped the dental organization form a deal with private equity firm Amulet Capital Partners.
Mr. Adrankowicz comes into the CEO role with more than 25 years of executive leadership experience. Most recently, he served as the president and CEO of Schaumburg, Ill.-based Familia Dental, a privately held DSO. He also spent time at Irvine, Calif.-based Smile Brands, working as president and COO. An expert in the DSO field, Mr. Adrankowicz also worked at Orange, Calif.-based Western Dental as the executive vice president of operations.
Along with his dental leadership experience, Mr. Adrankowicz spent seven years at UnitedHealth Group, serving as senior vice president of dental product solutions and senior vice president of managed care dental products.
