Cordental acquires 35-practice Iowa DSO

Cincinnati-based Cordental Group Management has acquired Dubuque, Iowa-based AppleWhite Dental.

AppleWhite supports more than 100 dentists and hygienists at 35 practices across Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota.

Tom McCoy, DDS, founded the Iowa dental service organization in 2008. Today, AppleWhite treats around 185,000 patients annually.

This is Cordental’s third acquisition of the year. In May, the DSO acquired two private practices in St. Louis, and in January, Cordental affiliated with Boain Dental Care in Florissant, Mo.
