As many dental providers struggle to understand the various guidelines and regulations issued during the COVID-19 pandemic, the program aims to develop comprehensive operating manuals, obtain sufficient personal protective equipment and conduct hundreds of mandatory training sessions.

Under the program, dental staff will be screened for COVID-19 twice daily, wear appropriate PPE and thoroughly disinfect work stations between patients. The program will also require new safety protocols to which patients need to adhere, such as pre-appointment phone screenings, curbside check-ins and pre-entry temperature checks.
