A recent analysis sheds light on the growing trend of group practice affiliations among U.S. dental specialists. The data reveals that 36% of endodontists and 34% of periodontists are now practicing within group settings of three or more providers. In contrast, prosthodontists show the lowest affiliation rate among these specialties, with just 17% working in group practices.
These findings underscore the continued evolution of dental practice models, highlighting the increasing importance of group affiliations in shaping the future of the profession.
