Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental expanded its network by more than 50 practices in the first half of the year, according to an Aug. 5 news release from the DSO.
Here are eight notes on the company’s first half growth:
- The DSO expanded its footprint in 14 states through its footprint growth program.
- The company collaborated with supported practices to open 38 de novo locations.
- Heartland Dental completed 13 affiliations during the first half of the year.
- The company introduced HDflex, a staffing platform that allows dental hygienists and dental assistants to select shifts at Heartland-supported dental practices.
- The DSO continued its investment into AI programs and patient financing offerings.
- In the past year, Heartland Dental University facilitated more than 100,000 in-person and virtual course completions.
- In April, Heartland Dental and Concorde Career Colleges broke ground on a con-branded campus in Fort Myers, Fla., which will train up to 190 dental hygiene and dental assisting students annually.
- Heartland Dental supports more than 1,800 dental practices across 39 states and Washington, D.C.
