Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental has reached 2,000 supported dental offices in its network, becoming the first DSO in the U.S. to reach the milestone.
So far in 2026, Heartland Dental has added more than 106 practices, including 55 locations through de novo practices and 51 additional practices through strategic affiliations, according to an Oct. 21 news release from Heartland Dental.
Across its more than 2,000 practices, the organization supports more than 10,000 dentists and dental hygienists.
The DSO’s supported offices receive access to nonclinical capabilities across operations, human resources, recruiting, marketing, technology, supplies and labs, payroll, credentialing, finance, and learning and development.
The company supports practices across 38 states and Washington, D.C.
“Reaching 2,000 supported offices is exciting because it represents more doctors and teams with access to support that helps them build successful practices, serve patients and make a difference in their communities,” Pat Bauer, president and CEO of Heartland Dental, said in the release. “As we grow, we remain committed to our mission of supporting doctors and their teams so they can deliver the highest quality dental care and experiences to the communities they serve.”
