How 4 DSOs performed in 2025

Several DSOs are reflecting on their accomplishments from 2025 and using their momentum to fuel growth in 2026. 

Here are four DSOs that recently released performance reports for 2025:

1. Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental grew its network to more than 1,900 supported dental practices in 2025. Heartland Dental-supported practices also completed 11.5 million patient visits and delivered more than $2.8 million in free dental services. 

2. Henderson, Nev.-based PDS Health exceeded $3.1 billion in revenue, achieved with 77 practice openings and more than 7.5 million patient visits. The DSO also expanded its partnerships with several universities and invested in SOTA Cloud, a cloud-based imaging and diagnostic platform.

3. Franklin, Tenn.-based Specialized Dental Partners added more than 20 offices and 80 doctors to its network. The organization also enhanced its integrated care models to streamline care and hosted several leadership and development programs for its clinicians.

4. Dallas-based MB2 Dental added 60 partner practices and four de novo locations, reaching 800 practices. It also completed more than 4.5 million patient visits and launched Carabelli Club, an affiliate program for dentists designed after its partnership model.
