Colorado has experienced the most growth in DSO-affiliated dentists between 2015 and 2024, according to data from the American Dental Association.

The ADA recently released data on the dentist workforce, including demographics, workplaces and retirement trends.

Here is the percentage point change in the share of dentists affiliated with a DSO between 2015 and 2024 for each state:

Alabama: 15.5%

Arizona: 7.8%
