In addition to educating people on the link between the two health conditions, the organizations will also spread awareness on how oral health providers can help patients prevent and manage diabetes, according to an Oct. 3 news release.

The two organizations partnered in November 2021 in recognition of American Diabetes Month. Pacific Dental Services also partnered with Commonwealth Primary Care ACO in January to provide care in collaboration with the ACO’s physicians to Medicare Advantage patients diagnosed with diabetes or pre-diabetes.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
